"The Goddess Pele"

This drawing of Madame Pele, our beloved Goddess of Fire, was
commissioned by her spiritual brother Joe Moray. The original is in his home in Arizona. Mr. Moray received a vision of Goddess Pele while in Honolulu. He described to Kaleiiliahi what he saw and this is the result.

Goddess Pele is known to take many forms such as an old woman called Tutu Pele, or as a young woman as you see here. Each day she gives birth to new land in the sacred island of Hawaii. She is shown here as the perfect balance of the yin/yang, hot/cold…the duality in all things. She is the inspiration for CREATION and PASSION. She is loved, feared and respected by her people…and people worldwide have come to honor her.
